The engine (Vestigial Limb V1: DECOMMISSIONED) is strapped to the twin carriers and  pull-started by another performer harnessed to the ignition cord. Reggaeton and bachata are mixed by a DJ during the performance, mimicking musical labor and musical farming present in South America, influenceing the rythm and movement of the actions and the performance ends once all the gasoline has been burned. The once tool for labor has been transformed into a ceremonial instrument which burns gasoline and cries out to its audience.

Dwelling on Mbembe's "necro-politics", the engine, much like the fake gold chains, and the dirtied white garment calls to be witnessed by those outside of the "death world" to become subject and no longer resource.
